Japanese quail may be small, but don't let his size fool you - they can jump surprisingly high when startled. Because of this, he'll ideally need a fully enclosed predator-proof pen to keep him safe. A secure run with plenty of ground space, hiding spots, and soft bedding will help him feel comfortable and confident.
